"'Cleo' is part of my kit of parts 'Ship' sculptures. A collage of many shaped parts, colors, nuts and bolts. This method of sculpture was invented so I could make small steel sculptures anywhere in the world without the need of major tools or a shop. Scale is a determinant factor, the pieces can almost act as models for potential larger work or structures. Like a ship, these are vessels, they carry a space to peek into, going beyond the experience of exteriority.
