BIOGRAPHY
French designer who graduated at the Dutch Design Academy in Eindhoven. Her work evolves around contemporary futurism. Robots and augmented biology cyborgs full the contemporary imagination. Designed intelligence grows and becomes essentially transformative. In this context the old myth of Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods, is still relevant as a speculation regarding the future of mankind and technology. In this chair the fire is transposed into electricity, the materials are transformed from marble to plastic and the techniques become entangled between sculpture, molding and CNC.
