My paintings often borrow from classical art, philosophy, mythology. I set together contemporary, mythical and autobiographical symbols. A pathetic and humorous attempt to relate my mundane and fleeting experience with the glorious spectacle of ancient myths...While the color and composition create the “melodies” that drive the viewer emotions.  Creating poetic and sensorial scenarios. Self-portraits, intended to embody hopes, dreams, mental and emotional states. A window of introspection and a quest to an understanding of human nature.
