“These mold painting where made in the process of my “Sort Of Pillar series’’. The sculptures leave a reinterpretation on the inside of the mold that were set to be garbage. However in the same way that the sculpture series are made of leftovers and waste, these molds where re-used and became wall-works.
After making wooden molds I started to work with metal molds, high polished stainless steel towards the inside of the mold. By letting the viewer enter the work I seek to let the material exist inside or between the space rather than on the wall. The unknown outcome of each of these works show different collisions between sorts of material used in my practice."
