The exhibition title ‘Égrégorien' is a neologism composed of French égrégore (egregore, “spirit of a group”) and rien (nothing). The tension of Leo Luccioni’s ambiguous relation to the topic of brands and sacrality creates playful yet palpable energy in the exhibition. In the installation piece attached to this email, Luccioni pays homage to the instantly recognisable logo of BP. The piece was created using a combination of coloured glass and plexiglass and was installed in the window at the entrance to the Exhibition hall, with a spotlight to shine through the coloured glass pieces, casting light outwards onto the street.
